    Nice Shoe Buckle

Dug this shoe buckle this morning. It was super crusty when it came out of the ground. Was really surprised how ornate it was when I cleaned it up at home. Lodge

What a wonderful old shoe buckle! I love the ornate ones!I am curious how you added a photo to your post. I have tried many methods both on my PC and on my phone with no success.

Thanks folks! It appears to be made of pewter or a similar alloy. It did sound nice under the coil!

Nice one. On my bucket list, but I will probably have to go to the coast or back up north to find one.
