Clamshell Spoon

I'm trying to date this site and everything is pre-1830...except this spoon! I wish I never found it :lol:
I'm guessing 1890s or even later, but does anyone have a more educated opinion? There is no writing.

After a washing I notice it was gold colored.

Cute doggie ! I believe those fluted spoons were used for serving sugar Drew.

Nice find. I agree with Jeff, they are sugar spoons usually when serving tea.
