Posting Key Date & Semi Key Date Coins

    Hi,

I thought it would be a cool thread if we posted pictures of key date and semi key date coins that we've found. I've only been detecting for a couple years and haven't dug one yet, but I thought it might be inspiring to see that others have.

    Thanks

Hah! You sound jealous! I found that penny in 1977 when I was 16 years old. I found it in a curb strip stacked with an 1898 V nickel! Even after all these years I bet I could get within 10 feet of the exact spot I found it too!

    Rest assured, I am jealous!

I am also a little crestfallen that you've never told me about it.

I was saving it for the day you find one and then I could say something like "Well, it's about time, I've had one for years now!"
