I'm almost embarrassed to post this after whydah and PL8MAN have been finding gold rings by the truckload, but I don't find gold very often so I'm going to post it.
It was such a beautiful spring day today that I couldn't resist hitting the local school yard for some relaxing swing time after work. While I have found a couple of Indian Heads and silver dimes at this school yard in the past, today I was just finding a ton of clad. Only one wheat cent made its way into my pocket, a 1919.
Just as it was starting to get dark I decided to dig one more nickel signal and call it a day. This signal was a 12-12 on the E-Trac about 3 deep. Much to my surprise, it was a 14K gold ring instead of a nickel. Only my second gold ring with the E-Trac.
It isn't much to look at but I'll take it!
Thanks for looking and happy hunting!
