No picnics to attend so....guess where I headed off to  3 rd time hitting this site and nabbed 3 more coppers. 2 matron heads 1818,1819? & a King George III hibernia.looks like 177?
3 buttons, one being a very tiny ball button with the thread still lodged inside the ball. Think I may have stumbled on a virgin cellar hole site or a barely hit one at best. brings me to 41 1/2 coppers on the year

no Dan this is another town .the depression is on one side of the wall and the other side is filled in due to them making a field of that area on other side of wall.theres more pics of site in DAY 2 post

I can only imagine the feeling of finding a 'tucked away' cellar hole in your neck of the woods. :daydream: How often do you 'hard core' guys come across a virgin cellar hole? I'm assuming this must be a real treat for you. :)
Looking forward to your next hunt there (which I see has already happened). :peace:

:perfect10: Like Joe said- it must be such a neat feeling to find a new cellar hole :happydance01: Something akin to me finding a chimney still standing or abandoned home site w/vines crawling through the windows here in fields of Kentucky... :)
