Yeah, I'm thinking about leaving all the Rosie's and burying the jar somewhere secret for some detectorist to dig up one day! I think I'll even put a note in the jar. Hey, thats not a bad idea. I could do the note on one of those machines that imprints sheet metal. I could like bury it like in a swamp or something. I may have to think on this one. Hmmmmmm!

Nice find! I hunt sidewalk projects pretty often when I find them. I have re-buried modern quarters under sidewalks in the past for the next generation.

I've often thought about 'returning one to the water' for another detectorist to get excited about. :yes: I definitely can't part
with anything I've dug, but considered doing so with some of the other silvers I've acquired. Putting a smile on a future
detectorists face is a win-win in my book.

Congrats on the Merc. Been so long since I've been out that I'm not sure I would remember what they sound like. lol 8/
