Had 2 hours to kill this afternoon.the 85 year old gentleman that lives 2 houses up said i could hunt his yard. there is barely any yard.he did alot of earth moving back in the 1950's and has a tiered back yard now.not too many targets in the diggable areas.
my first target was this stamped copper disc that i thought was a large copper coin.(still not convinced that it wasn't at some point)
a pretty cool hoover token (thought it was the vacum cleaner at first) rofl.
then it hit me :bop: herbert hoover! it's a campaign token from 1928

a busted piece of colonial shoe buckle,2 neat little buttons.one the shank is rotted away and may be civil war marine button. a old personalized unengraved dog tag(i have 2 of these the same now) some brass odds n ends. a small chinese cash coin and a small lead minnie ball.
he said come back anytime but, like i said not much yard area.
