Snuck out of work around noon and went hunting to a local park with Marinedad. Had the E-Trac torqued up for some deep silver and it paid off. Got silvers #55, #56 and #57 for 2012. <: Got a 1964-D Rosie at 8 inches. Then I got a 1952-D Washington at 7 inches on a hillside and finally another 1964-D Rosie at about 9 inches. The park manager was watching and he had just asked me if I was finding anything good when the last Rosie popped up and he could not believe it. He said he may now have to buy a detector since he saw the silver gleam in the black dirt. I told him I was on a mission to save silver coins from eternal darkness. 8/ Anyway, I ended up with the three silvers plus 41 clad coins for $4.53 and an old token with a hole in the center. Happy hunting to all! :beerbuddy:
man those were pretty deep for being fairly modern coins , great saves AmxFred

Any day you can get 3 silvers is a great day in my book. Congrats on all those keepers. Sounds like you may have gotten the park rangers interest, we could all use some more competition 8/
