UPDATE: I have had a few jewelers look at the free mason ring and all have concluded that it is likely from the early 60's.
Went for a couple hunts this weekend. The tide was at about a - 3 foot drop uncovering about 75 feet of new real estate to detect and Sandy did not disappoint. Found the two rings on Saturday. The larger one is stainless steel but beautiful and the other is a free mason 10K ring with some kind of semi precious stone in it. The single ring was on Sunday and is 10K with a peridot gem stone in it. If you are in the clearwater st. pete area, get out and take advantage of this huge tide swing. HH to all.
