This morning we had our annual club hunt. You couldn't ask for a nicer day. The weather was perfect! They didn't seed it with any gold this year as the price to purchase was just too high.
I know there are some people who feel seeded hunts are like shooting fish in a barrel. Well, it is but its still fun  And I do like fun :)
They planted clad, silver coins, silver jewelry and 40 lead - numbered prize tokens. The tokens were redeemed for 3 coinmaster pro detectors, a beach hunter detector, A 6T detector, I think 4 gold coins-3 1/10oz and 1 1/4 oz, sand scoops, diggers, rock tumblers, pouches and 2 way radios. The entrance fee is $30.
I found almost $20 in clad, 3 eye hurting pieces of silver jewelry, 5 mercs, a 64 kennedy 1/2, 3 buffs and a war nickel. I also found 1 prize token and it got me the 2 way radios. The radios are great when buddies hunt farm fields or woods.
Another fun day for me :)
Hey, silver is silver! And the radios are nice too! Congrats!

yes, the weather was absolutely perfect for a change!!!....it seemed that everyone was having fun and enjoying themselves, and that's what it's all about, having fun!!!
btw Steve....you may not like that bracelet but I sure did when we bought it!!! as long as I have been part of the planting of the items, I have never found one piece of jewelry, and that was one I was hoping to find!
