you guys must have some really fat bats up where your at lol lol the bugs up here in Connecticut are getting out of hand here as well

Yeah, come out at dusk. Only live like 24 to 48 hours. Just long enough to lay more eggs. Lay their eggs in the water. They say this is how you can tell if your lake water is good and pure. May flies will not breed in contaminated or dirty water. We should be soooooooooo grateful. You have to totally black out at night when they are flying. Reason? If you have May flies, you are going to have spiders. If you leave your outside lights on it attracts the May flies. Next morning your house is covered with spider webs and dead May flies. Sucks! They only last a few months. We are so lucky!
