Saturday was a great day to be outside, just a boy and his detector. My goal was any silver coin so I went to a heavily pounded park that I used to spend entire days at 20 years ago. I've dug over 100 silver coins and a full one third have been Barber designs. Once I did find 1 cc seated dime there. The pictured pair of dimes was the second signal of the day and the last silvers found Saturday.
I haven't posted up my finds from the last 3 Saturdays, I'm must be getting lazy. Im also seeing way cooler digs being posted up here at AD. The two dimes Saturday in one hole did get me smiling.
The sterling spoon, musket ball (cast in pewter?), coppers and button are from the April 14 hunt in Durham, CT.

The 1929, '37, '40 & '42 cents were dug April 24. The were neatly stacked four inches deep. I really like finding these little snapshots of time.

Nearly every post on AD features finds way cooler than what I've been digging. Kinda find myself needing to get on better sites. Now that we've gotten rain I'd feel better about getting permission to detect private property. Anyway, I'm really enjoying my V3i and this shows I've been getting out.
