I had made plans to meet up with John (midas) Saturday at a new site I had recently added to my list, but Friday night I called him to cancel. We agreed that he should still go, and he did. Then at about 11:30 this morning he calls me from the site to tell me he had picked up two silver coins, a merc and a 1876 Seated quarter. After a bit of prodding he convinced me to make the over one hour trip to the site. Well, I just couldn't refuse.
I arrived at the site after 1:00, and by then John had added another merc to his count. I couldn't wait to get started myself. We worked the site for two hours, and by then I had in my pouch 8 silver coins. We took a break to have something to eat, after which we again tackled the field we had been working. Long story short, when it was time to leave I had in my pouch 14 silver coins.... or so I thought. Once home I counted 13, so I either miscounted or lost one of the dimes while placing it in my pouch. :thinkingabout:

The following are from a few other recent hunts - 1895 Barber quarter, two Indian Head cents (one is a fatty), a Walking Liberty Half, a Barber dime, a large cent. The last photo is of a few wheat and Indian Head cents, a 1907 Barber dime, a 1884 seated dime, and a sterling silver cufflink.
