Real nice replica Dave. I looked it up and that variety doesn't exist. I hope you didn't pay much for it .................................. rofl Just kidding Dave. Nice coin. But you can't count it for your yearly total  Other than a couple or rim nicks, it is a really high grade coin. I'm surprised it wasn't slabbed by the dealer that sold it. They don't look that nice coming from the ground :bangahead01:

OOOOOWWEEEE thats a beauty. I have found two half cents detecting. One, Lincolns head was cut off at the top, and the other it was split right down the middle. lol I'm with coinnut, that one should have been slabbed. Nice buy.

That is a very nice find Dave... ebay can produce some good stuff. Many pass up coins that are not slabbed or very high grade. True collectors buy the coin, not the plastic. RickO
:) yeah nice coin. It looks authentic. Just a note: I saw on the news one day that they said alot of the coins on ebay are counterfeit or stolen. I'm not saying don't buy by any means, I've bought some currency and a gold coin without problems. I just look at the persons credentials and it's even better if its graded. I use ebay alot to price out my collection. I get concerned when the red book says $200 and the bids at $75 say. although there are alot of desperate people out there with the way the economy is though. Probably the best time to buy. I've been to club meetings and sat near a person who had some great coins and didn't even know what they had. Like the person who buys a picture at a garage sale for $20 and finds out it's worth several thousand at the antique road show. Don't you just hate that? Why can't I get that lucky?

Yeah I joke around with my family, that's my dream job! lol Go to yard sales looking for antiques... like Grizwold skillets I think a #13 is worth about $1000 & #1 for $3500! Anyone have these in their cabinets? :shocked04:stretcher:
