Took a trip to New England this weekend, and broke the drive up with some detecting. On Friday, I scored my first 2 reale (they are between the size of a quarter and a half), a 1777, for my second oldest silver ever. happydance02 Its a bit worn, but we'll take it.
On Saturday, met up with Al (aloldstuff), Rob L, and his son Al from the forum at sites they had permission to detect. I was skunked, outside what is possibly a very old wedding band (base metal). It was a great hunt anyway at some great sites (tho a little chilly :frozen:), and I really enjoyed myself; thanks for the invite :beerbuddy:
HH everyone, and hopefully you are having a nice Easter.

Congrats on the two reales. I've never seen reales that were in real good shape. Getting a two reale is something everyone would like. I got about a quarter of one. It was broken, not cut. Still looking for a whole one.
