The 1842 Seated dime I found Sunday fit nicely in the frame I put together. It is all the good stuff from this site. There are several fields that make up the site and I have been fortunate to find this stuff.
The top 12 coins came out of the same hole. There are 9 Indian Heads, 1 flying eagle, 1 German and 1 Mexican in the group.
In the third row, the first one is a seated dime that has been hammered. You can still make out the seated lady if you hold it right. Next are two shield nickels that did not fair well being in the ground for so long. Another Indian Head, a flat button, a V nickel and a real nice 1902 Barber quarter make up that row
I think the next row is the best. It starts off with an 1829 Capped Bust half dime followed by two Seated half dimes 1842 and 1857, an 1807 Spanish Real and 5 Seated Liberty dimes 1858, 1842, no date, 1840 and 1875. The third dime is very worn but the outline of the lady is visible in this one too.
The rest of the frame is made up of various buttons, bullets and other stuff. The button under the badge was not found here. My brother gave it to me to go with the badge.
This frame has taken about 3 years to fill up but, if I am lucky I will get to start a new one soon.
