Yesterday I drove about an hour to the southeast and hunted at a couple of new towns. I found a park in the second town that gave up 8 wheat cents, a 1941 Mercury Dime and a 1959 Rosie. In this park I also found the Lord's Prayer pendant pictured below. It is smaller than a standard dog tag, it's about the size of a quarter. It was about 7" deep so it may have a little age to it.

Today I put a lot of miles on my car trying to find a new hot spot. I headed north this time. Again I found a park in a very small town that I had never been to before. I didn't find any old coins in this park, but I did find this 1981 sterling silver class ring attached to a sterling silver cross and another junk ring. Fortunately the girl's name is engraved inside the ring so I have a good chance of returning it to its proper owner with a little detective work.

After not finding much else at this little park I headed to a different town that had a nice old park that was fairly large. I found a 1920 wheat cent and an 1880 Indian Head in short order, but couldn't find another old coin for the next two hours so I called it a day and headed home.

I thought the silver class ring and cross was a neat find and I'm looking forward to trying to find the owner.
Thanks for looking and happy hunting!
