Learning conditions and your detector

I've been practicing some stuff in a book I read by magic, some stuff that I thought I knew already. I was working a trashy area at an old mill site and got second standing liberty quarter, still haven't got one with a date yet though. Some of these sites can still produce some nice finds if you put the effort in, slow down, and learn what your detector is telling you. HH

I haven't quite attained that level yet
I live in MA near boston.
so far I believe I have been trying to learn trashy environments I think thats all there is no matter where I go its all iron.
I am getting better at setting up but I still have a lot to learn.
