a bit of a mix today

Got out today for a midday hunt to the site that I've been working for the last week or so, and pulled my second copper from there, an 1853 LC, which, aside from the acidic soil abuse, has quite a bit of detail. Also pulled a dateless buff, a rosie, and a massive 13+ gram sterling USA ring.

The copper was only 4 inches deep, and rang a consistent 01-46 to 01-47 on the E-Trac. This is almost always a pipe fitting or similar junk, and I was surprised it was a copper. Never had one that shallow with the E-Trac, so live and learn.

This is a nice site, as it has the potential for old coppers, as well as modern silvers to break the boredom, as well as anything in between. Hoping for something in between (in the silver family) in the next few hunts. We'll see.

HH everyone.

Oh yeah! Look at the span of years between the LC and the Rosie! thumbsup01
Just think of everything in between :daydream:  <:
I like the ring too. I wonder if it's just a patriotic type ring or if it's from organization :dontknow:
Great hunt and finds Randy! :envious:
Congrats!
