A Watch and Wheats

Got out his AM for a couple hours before I had to run all my errands for the day, otherwise known as the Honey do list. lol

I went over to my favorite woodsy spot and proceeded to have a dismal hunt.

But, the weather was spectacular for March and I got a couple of keepers. One of the first finds was this old watch. I'm not sure if it's gold or not. I didn't get to have a close look at it yet.

The other finds were 3 wheat pennies, a 1917, 1957-D, and one I can't tell what the date is. It was in the same hole as the 1917 one. I also found a little memorial penny spill, and rusty pocket knife, and a lot of trash.

Hope everyone who got out found some goodies! :groovy:

Update on the watch: I just cleaned it off. Turns out it wasn't as dismal of a hunt after all! The watch is an Omega Seamaster De Ville and it is stamped 14k Gold filled! That sure made my day!! I'm going to see if my local jewler can made it tick again!

Nice recovery on the watch, hope it's not beyond reasonable repair. Nice early wheat also hope the undated one is early to. Congrats
