I got out this morning for a quick 1 hour hunt. I went to the old local park thats been around since the late 1700s. Although I know its been hit plenty of times by many people, I am the only person with permission to detect it |:cheering: I went into the woods and this was my first target. Looks like it has the word LIBERTY on top? Maybe a 1700s Large Cent.

I bet Del/Dan or HeavyMetalNut the cellarhole guys will know what it is

yep, love that place too....always liked going there with you....there is still stuff waiting there for you
hey Steve rotate the coin about 90 degrees clock-wise ...
it looks like maybe a Connecticut or Vermont copper , i can see part of the lady holding the staff and LIB .
UPDATE
this looks like your reverse note the star design before the word LIB and the flower design after . theres only a few 1788 Connecticut's coppers that have this so yours is an E reverse but theres 4 different obverses that could match up but atleast you know what it is and the year Steve.
LIST OF VARIETIES IT COULD ONLY BE
Miller 7-E.
Miller 9-E.
Miller 12.1-E.
Miller 12.2-E.
