Rob and Tim met me at my house around 8am and we decided to head south to get out of the snow. By the time we got to
Windsor the snow was gone. We located a park and started hunting. After some time there and only getting clad we packed it up and went looking for another park. We soon noticed that we were back in the snow covered ground area, so we really went south. We ended up in Bristol and found a very little park. I managed a 1937 merc and a 1941 wheat. Rob gets himself a 1941 merc and I think 4 wheats. Sorry to report Tim did not score, next time buddy.

Not bad for just driving and stopping anyplace. The ground is still frozen up here in north central MA.When it thaws Rob W. and Most likely you and Tim may be comming up here for a hunt. Hopefully it will be sooner than later. I've got a place where there are hundreds of lg cents and old silver coins that has never been detected. ( DON'T WE ALL WISH.) :) Actualy I've got some good finds from the fields we will be going in. See you in the spring.

Al, you forgot to post the eagle eyed police that were at 2 locations watching us. One at that park and one at that old green. I don't know if you saw the one at the green , but me and Rob noticed him. Its funny how we came and left and you probably wouldn't know we were even there. Love the diggers. Not the show... but the actual diggers we use. Happy Hunting!!
We should plan a gathering......for when its all thawed out. Maybe a central location. Large Fields...Farm land...Something. I have a silver itch that needs to be scratched. Just a thought. :thinkingabout:

Tim, I never saw the police at the little park. I am quite sure that the other office was waiting to catch a speeder, cause he watched us for awhile.
Ya we gotta get your silver itch scratched.
I look forward to meeting you Rob. Happy Hunting!!
And I do too! That's another thing that's great about this hobby..other than the finds...meeting new people and having a good time. thumbsup01
Yeah, Tim, it's funny how Al always seems to leave out the police...makes you wonder about his past that he doesn't share :thinkingabout:...or maybe you and I are just delinquents and use to always looking over our shoulder for cops lol...but then again, last time it was only my name they searched for warrants >:/...Al must have that Grandpaw look...which would explain why all the kids follow him lol
