The other day i hit an old park in town and got a bit of clad and a 1921 buff. Also found a ladies watch non working of course.
So when they said it was gonna get up to 40degrees today, i said I'm going out.
So i hit a park that i have been to only a couple times and i had found a sterling ring at but no silver coins. Well, today it gave up the silver! Got a 1945 Washington and $2.16 in clad. Also a religious medal made of something other than silver or gold. :(
Then i went to Wendy's for a fish sandwhich and fries. And hit another park that i have found several mercs at last year. I decided to do the curb strip down to the other end then come back the middle of the soccer field. Found .25 before going back to the truck. Three wheat cents 40's + 50's. Then i got a good signal next to the sidewalk near my truck, so i dug! Right off the bat i hit a big rock so i start digging around it. I poke the propointer into the hole and it sounds off big near the rock. So i dig the rock out and toss it by the dirt pile. The propointer goes back in and nothing. So i probe the dirt pile and nothing. I filled the hole and almost left. Then i thought i better check once more. I swung the E-trac in a big loop around the hole and sure enough, there it was! A 1953 rosie lying on the surface. It must have been stuck to the rock and fell off away from the pile. :hairpulling:
Anyhow i got two silvers which paid for my gas and lunch. So the clad is all profit!!
