Hi folks, I could use some help to identify the marks on this spoon. For some reason I can't even find which country :confused:.there is a crown so I figured England but cannot seem to match the marks.Any assistance would be helpful. thanks for looking, mike

hey Mike , your spoon looks either silver plated or made of pewter from the dull grey color of the photo. can you get a more of an accurate color to come through also it looks like the front edge of the spoon is very worn and the silver is gone to reveal the reddish color of copper . if its a plated spoon the hallmarks and cartouches could be fake .

Silverplate actually has it's own set of Hallmarks...

There is no hallmarks on this that designates it as Silver, so it does Look like this spoon is plate, and from the crown symbol that it originated in Sheffield.

That crown does look more like the one in the German hallmarks. Can't find anything on Reno Silver
