With seven inches of snow on frozen ground it was a real treat to dig into soft dirt today. :smitten:

Ron called me last night letting me know he just drove by an old section of town that had the top 4-7 inches scraped away. :shocked04:
This afternoon I obtained permission for us to hunt the entire block and off we went with our gear.

The weather was pleasant and the ground beneath our feet was as soft as could be. It was a strange feeling having snowmobiles buzzing by across the street while digging coins. lol

Got my coil over a few keepers. All less than two inches deep. :)

Hopefully they'll scrape the other half by next weekend. :->

Nice job noticing the site Ron! :clapping:

Thanks folks. thumbsup01 It was a nice break in the winter metal detecting lull to find soft ground. :smitten:

do you find that the brown backround you use makes it easier to get your lighting right for your pictures ? :perfect10: |:cheering:

Hi Sheik, the background works pretty good. I tend to light my detecting finds pretty flat/average. Most backgrounds would work about the same. I'm still trying to find a new background for this year. I like to change it up each season.
