I read RaZR's story yesterday. &quot:grin:shocked04:ubled up today And seeing I only found .35 cents in clad yesterday. I figured I better get my butt out there. And see If I could match him. thumbsup01 Well I didn't find a Quarter. But I did manage to pull two silver dimes out of the ground. A 1950-D Rosie, and a 1942-D Merc. thumbsup01 A couple Nickels, and some Pennies. Never have seen a silver so stained before. Thanks RaZR for getting me off of it, and getting out there. Went back to my favorite nature center. Wasn't long before it started to rain though. so I had to quit. Supposed to be around 40 degrees tomorrow so, lets Go RaZR! happydance02 happydance02

Try soaking that dime in ammonia. Then in vinegar. If it's not a 1942-D with the 2 over 1.

I think this time of year we are all looking for some extra motivation. It takes some dedication to brave the cold temperatures and frozen ground, but finding silver makes it all worth it! thumbsup01
