SWEET 1853 Seated

Two hour hunt after work, in the snow, was very productive. :grin:
Before digging I called the dime to my partner Merc.....but I called it a Mercury....thankfully I was off by a few years. :twirlingeyes:
The cuff link has lots of gold on it....I don't want to brush it. Any suggestions on cleaning? Thanks for looking, Drew
PS this new hole may have to wait as we expect 6 more inches tomorrow :white:usaflag::

hey Drew great seated with arrows too :perfect10: ,is there a backmark on your cufflink if there is its more than likely a button instead . either some naval jelly or a little CLR will bring out the gold gilt but it looks like it has alot of wear in the middle and gilt around the edges ( typical for buttons) . congrats on a nice short hunt .
