They sure were big back in the day. Found this this morning at my favorite colonial spot. It was deep. It was a fun 1 hour hike.
nice design too , whats the diameter of the button Steve??

Unique button. I wonder if the designer took his/her cue from the original classic Greek time period.

nice button Steve! I'm tellin ya go to home depot in the paint dept and grab a fine brass bristled brush! they work miracles on buttons like that.
here's mine before & after a little soap,warm water and the brush
