View Full Version : Woe, woe, woe is me!
Man the Silver gods are frowning on me for some reason. Gonna have to do a silver dance or something. Hunted half a day today. No Silver, Arggggggggggg! Got a hand full of clad as usual, 6 wheats, 1929, 39, 42, 44, 55-D and one that was toast. Also found this English/Brittish one penny coin. Not very old, but strange to be at an old bus stop in Mississippi, lol. Does anyone know what country? England, or some other? Thanks for looking and HH

The silver has got to be out there some where and I'm sure you'll find it! Nice finds.

hang in there...don't feel alone. i hunt old farm sites and it seems for every silver i will have to dig up a bunch of pennies, shotgun shells, and a cr@p load of brass or copper scraps.
I just bought the Etrac and have spent only a few hours going over some past favorite spots...this pic shows only part of what i have had to dig up to get 1 silver dime (1944), 5 IH pennies, and 10 wheat or clad pennies.

>:\, But :perfect10: congrats on the finds! I feel your pain. I swung that coil until I couldn't anymore, yesterday. I found about 70 cents. Sometimes we have those days. But you'll bounce back. WTG
