Diamond of a half dime ! :perfect10: :perfect10:
thank you folks, im sure finding it was more luck than judgement.
question, the grading thingy, how does it work ? i know theres like vg,f,ef, and so on but as a novice to this can anyone enlightern me on what grade it would fall into ?.
hey Lee , George is pretty good at grading them and i'm sure he'll give you his opinion when he sees it in person . are you thinking about getting it slabbed already ;)
slabbed ? whats that mean ?....lol.
the wife keeps telling me to try and sell the stuff ive found and im like...errr ok......but to be honest i like holding the stuff...i dont want to bloody sell it...!!!!!
heres a picture of the wife.... :boxing:

slabbed means professionally graded and then encapselated or sealed in a plastic container . i don't think i can part with my collection either Lee lol lol

That is a beautiful half dime! :shocked04: :perfect10:
I'm no professional but I would say it's at least an F12. Interesting to hear what George would say when he sees it.
You could get it professionally graded and slabbed at some place like PCGS, but it would cost you about $50 or so (the coin is probably worth around $75-$100 I would guess (?)
Very nice find!
Whatever you do, don't clean it! :)
i couldnt put it in one of those sealed thingys epi, if i did i couldnt touch it anymore, its just the feel of the things i find in my hands.......ya know.....im probably making no sense but this stuff was ment to be touched.....it just feels nice ya know ?
