Yesterday got out for 2 hours before the rains hit >:\ >:#, but managed to score a somewhat tarnished barber dime, and very nice 1919 merc -- the scan doesn't do justice, but its my nicest pre 40s merc.
Today got out in the morning as well, before succumbing to errands >{, but managed to dig 3 silver coins before lunch -- a tarnished '20 merc, a tarnished '12D barber dime, and a nice 09D barber Q :happydance01: happydance02 The barber dime was in standing water, and the plug had 3 inches of ice-cold muddy H2O to work thru -- glad that the propointer is waterproof -- I just kept scooping out mud til I got it (sort of like beach hunting without the pretty sunsets).
I don't get much barber silver, so its fun when it comes in bunches, and this is my 4th consecutive hunt of getting at least one barber coin. HH everyone.
