Made it out for an hour and a half late afternoon hunt today. The park I hunted was about 50/50 frozen/soft. I stuck to the soft areas.

Got my coil over 4 keepers. :happydance01:

I am starting to wonder if I'll have to put my detector away at all this year. lol

went out today ground was real soft in the woods but was frozen the first hour or so in the field dennis

you did well and congats on the silver. It is not frozen here, but has been raining for four days straight. Even if I could get out I could dig anything but a well. :girlcry: :girlcry:

Nice hunt Joe! I am going to try and keep the detector out all year. If all else fails and the ground freezes, when the snow comes you can go to the sledding hills and MD in the snow for surface finds.

Congrats on more silver. Doesn't seem like this season will ever end. Calling for high 40s around here for new years weekend. Hopefully that means another week for you folks.

Congrats on more late season silver, Joe! From the looks of the weather forecast it looks like I'm going to be able to hunt right up until December 31, I hope it's the same where you're at!
