Drove to a Chicago park Sunday for a breezy 6 hour hunt. The frost was 1 to 2 inches deep that made recovery a lot of work. Still better then watching TV.
We hit alot of differnt areas, mostly looking for long grass or a thin layer of leaves that made the ground a little more workable.
My goal for the day was 6 Indians for a year total of 100. Patric was looking for 3 Indains for his 100 for the year. I truely was not expecting that many Indians in one hunt and was more then happy with the 3 i did find. Any chance of disapointment at the lack of 6 Indians disapeared when I pulled a awsome Barber Quarter at 7 1/4 inches. Very VERY happy I didn't hit it with the knife, I was in the side of my hole.
Might only be one hunt left this years so lots of pics
