Hi guys!, Is there any benefit to the v rated coils, vs regular coils for my DFX 300? I have a bid on a 6 X 10 DD. But it is not v-rated. Is there a difference? Thanks!!

if its not a v-rated coil it must be one of the older ones as i believe they all are v-rated now , just becareful buying a used coil is all . either type will work fine on a dfx , the v-rating is for the v3i machine so the coil can handle the tx boost feature is all.

There is no advantage to using a V-rated coil on a DFX. The V-Rated coils are nulled to handle the 22.5kHz frequency correctly. There is no 22.5kHz on the DFX, just 15kHz and 3kHz.

Hi Guys, The other day. Someone Said they had a 9.5 for a DFX, that their not using. I can't find the post. I'm still interested in getting it. But don't remember who it was. Let me know! Thanks! Roger
