Cheap Thrills

I was Dog tired after a five hour hunt yesterday at the scraped lot I've been hitting lately . They had scraped the entire lot since my last hunt there and I figured it should be good for at least a couple of silvers WRONG !! All I managed was two wheats , 6 memorials 2 modern tokens , a few zincolns and a whole lot of junk . I wasn't even going to go out today but my dog was standing by the front door wagging her tail . So I grabbed the Explorer and off we went to this Dog/detector friendly Park I've had a bit of luck at . In between throwing the stick and picking up after her I managed to find 33 cents that averages out to 16.5 cents per hr. We both had a good day .

I think its time to scra the scrapped park sheik....move on. It was a good lead and valiant effort, however it did not pay off. Not to worry, as we say in the biz of sales, every no means ur closer to the YES. :cheering: i am ur cheerleader.

Hey thanks Aaron , it's nice of you to send the positive energy ! |:cheering: I am totally burned out on that scrape as well as most of the spots I have been hunting . I'm going to hunt up some new places but will still keep hunting this park though as it is a good testing ground for the SE . I just recently lowered my manual sensitivity down to 24 and am now hunting deep on / fast off with the gain at 9 and still using the Pro coil . These settings seem to agree with this spot as my average depth was noticeably a bit deeper this hunt and the last one at this spot . The Merc was the first one I have found at this spot and was a good 8 . Previous to this all my silver finds here have been Roosies and a Washington . I've pretty much cleaned off all the surface targets . I'm confident there's a few goodies left there .
I'll be cheering for you too ! |:cheering: :cheering:
Thanks Timmy , I love those Mercs !!! :loveit: |:cheering:
