Dave and I finally put a three hour hunt together again. :clapping:
We arrived at the park a little before 10:00 a.m. to find a half inch or so of frozen ground. crying01 As the sun made it's way
higher in the sky the earth soon became soft again.
I picked up three Wheat cents along with these two keepers. :happydance01:

Still building up the suspense for Indian Head number 100? ;)

Congrats
Thanks Tim. The Barber is in nice shape. :smitten: I noticed the date, then the D mint mark and immediately remembering this being a key date. With it safely in my pocket I soon realized 1914D was a key for Wheat cents. lol  At least it was fun for 2 or 3 minutes. But... a Barber is a Barber. :happydance01:
you are the master .
lol More like I've been riding a great wave of luck this year. Sooner or later it will come crashing down.
What was the cross made of. HH to you.
Not silver. crying01 Definitely a plated material of some kind.
Still building up the suspense for Indian Head number 100? ;)
Thanks for bringing it up Tony. I didn't want to mention it because I am starting to doubt I will get one before the ground gets hard. I did get a deep, nice thick green glob today that turned out to be a 1911 Wheat. crying01
I told Dave when we first arrived and fired up our machines that he could have all the silvers today as long as I get one IH.
