Hey everyone! :groovy:
Well the temps are dropping and the inevitable is just around the corner. Thats right. :frozen: Old Man Winter is near :crying02: lol
I recently got permission for two new church sites. This was my second trip to this site. The first time I went Jeff Fire Fighter 43 came down from Wisconsin to come hunt it with me. The first trip only produced 2 coins. And Jeff found them both! lol thumbsup01 I figured there has to be more there. There is a lot of iron in the ground. I think they might have burned this church down  :dontknow: But this time I was able to make a couple of decent finds!
1860's Church Site (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DK0m_G2wHL4#)

Coming out of a field of course it's about shot  >{ :crying02:
Can't make out a date. But since it has the rays it can only be one of two years.
It's either a 1866 or a 1867 since it has the rays! That makes this my oldest nickle! <: :happydance01:
I also found a thin, gold plated wedding band.
It's even stamped 18K lol
