Well a big part of this hobby is the excitement and anticipation of the hunt! With the beautiful weather I was hoping to get out on Friday and I did make it out early in the morning on Friday for about three hours. I headed back to some farm fields that were recently worked up, it is a site I have been to before, but never in the fields. This is in Milwaukee County so at least I did not have to worry about hunters! I got there shortly after 7am and it was already in the low forties.
When I arrived I was greeted by a nice warm bright sun!

This farm was on this site from the 1860's until the 1970's.

It's just woods, tree lines and fields now.

I saw about a half dozen deer while out.

This one got me real excited! It ended up being my only coin of the hunt and a 1959 penny, ugh!

The morning's finds. Plenty of glass, the signs were all there for some good stuff. The metal rectangular plate is a Ford name plate with serial number on it.

A piece of a clay pipe with GERMA.. on it.
