Back from the beach and this is actually my best find. Not sure of the date since it is in Ethiopian ..... They date coins with a different system and my brain hurt just trying to figure it out. It is a pretty cool looking coin that is worth less than a penny but is made of brass. It sure holds up better than our clad in the sand. It was at least a foot down in the dry sand just above the high tide line. I'll post pictures of the minor finds I had tomorrow in the beach threads.
