Close to Home

Decided to visit my Mother today,she 86 and I like to check in on her now and then. She lives about 2 minute from my house. While I was there I decided to check her front lawn with my reliable 1500 Garrett. Two minutes into the hunt I got a nickle signal. Out pops a 1973 college ring. I love this hobby. |:cheering: |:cheering:

Nice find Mark. Much better than a nickle :wow:. Goes to show you you never know what's coming out of that hole. Sometimes the places we least expect have the best treasures.
By the way, Sue and I are on our way to Maine tomorrow to close up the cottage. Will be taking the detector with us. Will be looking for that lost cash register :grin:
