Flower delivery

My wife owns a flower shop and forced me to do a delivery for her today.
O.K. she paid me ten bucks to make a delivery to a funeral home in a town about a half hour away. There is a large park in the town i planned to hit after delivering the flowers. But on the way to the funeral home i saw a sign that said oak park with an arrow pointing out the direction soooooo. I went there instead!
Hoping to up my silver count before the [shadow=red,left]SNOW[/shadow] comes.
It was a short hunt that started out with two clad dimes then a neat find i could not stop thinking about so after a 1944-D wheat penny and another clad dime i headed home.
The neat find was this shield nickle that i had to find out the date on. No luck there
it's not legible and is scratched up where the date is. But it's my first shield nickle and my oldest coin. Just not sure how old.

Here's pics......

Shield nickles don't pop up out of the ground that often. When they do most are toast anyway. Congrats on that find
