Hello all.
Todays hunt was about 5 hours at a vacant house that I had got permission to hunt. Set a new record for digging wheat pennies for myself. 17. The dates, 1910, 1918, 1944, 1950-D X3, 1951-D, 1953, 1953-D, 1955, 1955-D, 1957-D X3, 1958 X2, and a 1959. Also got a 1943 Mercury dime, my 17th silver since I started in may. A 1938 buffalo nickle, and a 1944-P Jefferson. A lot of clad and a lot of junk!

That looks like a very nice hunt to me! Any time you're finding that many old coins it makes for a fun day! Lots of wheaties, a nice Merc, war nickel, and a buffalo!

I'm getting ready to head out the door to try a couple of new parks. I hope I have that productive of a day!

Good job! :clapping:

Wow... that is a record setting day for Wheat cents. :clapping: Plus you found a nice Merc, Buffalo and War nickel. <:
Congrats on a great hunt.

Yeah Randy, you would think. But, covered it pretty well and no more silver. With all those wheats I thought I had hit the jackpot!

Congrats on a good hunt. Silvers and wheats(a pile of them). I had a wheat type of weekend myself with no silver but it will come. 17 silvers since May is good.
