Bell-Two

Diane and I went out this afternoon; it was such a beautiful day after all the rain and cold wind we just needed to get out to detect. We stopped and did a door knock at an older house I have had my eye on and the lady said “Go ahead” my first couple of targets were wheaties and then I hit a pocket spill that contained 6 coins, five definite wheaties and what I am pretty sure is the illusive 1943 steel wheat because it was rust encased and laying on top of another wheat. The other 5 were dated 1945 x2 1946, 1944, 1942. Diane found a couple of wheats and then I dug a sterling silver Cub Scout ring. Circling around I dug a few more wheats and then got a 1956 Rosie and less than a foot away a 1964 Washington was the next target. Along the side of the house my next good find was a 1944 Merc. The rest of the hunt gave up some more wheaties with a total of 13 for me and 4 for Diane. The yard of this house is huge and the lady said we were welcome to come back and hunt again. A good start for the fall season!
