Quick Hunt - Four Wheats in a Row

 Got out for a quick hunt tonight and hit an empty corner lot near my house. I've been going there whenever I get a chance. I've found a bunch of cool stuff already. I found a rusty old .38 revolver, jewelry, an old bullet casing, and a bunch of wheaties.

I tried out a Minelab Xterra 505 for the first time. I'm impressed. I hit these four wheaties right in a row. It did a way better job keeping the trash at bay. I only dug a couple of nails. The rest was coinage. I can't wait to use it again. I'm hoping to hit silver. The Xterra may give me the edge I need.

If there are a bunch of wheat cents present then there is a good possibility that silver is lurking as well. My ratio has been about one silver coin for every ten wheat cents found.

Interesting that you found a 38 revolver there too! :shocked04:

I too am a firm believer that, where we still find wheats, silver is still around. The ratio of 10 wheats to one silver has remained pretty consistent for me as well.
