I have been hunting a old picnic and party spot finding some mercs and wheates when :shocked03: a SLQ only my second one <: no date but :smitten: But after seeing all JTs seated coins I was on a mission for anything seated so to my oldest available site I went I have had very little luck at this site but it dates back to the 1820s and the foundation rock is still there all I have found there till today was 1IH and 1 barber dime but desperate as I am started way away from foundation first 15min a IH <: nexted 1hr 1/2 junk then I got a 12-39 12-41 im thinking a wheat mabe but was surrounded by junk dug the plug turned it up to see silver dead center only 4in down a 1840 half dime only my second one :happydance01: :happydance01: :happydance01: then it was time to go but just had to walk around the foundation before I left and :omg: another 12-39 12-40 and solid a very nice 1864 2 center and this all happend cause of JTs good luck rofl rofl Its not alot for almost a month of hunting but the SLQ and half dime :smitten: :smitten:

OMG!!!

That is an incredible hunt. I am particularly partial to that half dime, my all time favorite find and such a beautiful tiny coin.

Congratulations on an exceptional hunt!! :perfect10:

Now THAT'S how you do it! Standing Liberty Quarters are one of my all-time favorite coins, and that one is a beauty! I never mind if the date is gone, that means it's an early one. Now add a half dime and a two-cent piece, that's some incredible detecting!

Amazing finds! |)

:) Hey! Congrats. Ahhh my favorite, the 2 cent piece. Is it a Large or small Motto? Got a pic of the other side? Let's see. The silver is always a good sign also.

Nice isn't the word I'd be using. How many times did you have waiting for the heart to stop pumping so fast? WOW! What a haul. Congratulations on some fantastic recoveries.
