Another lone Merc today, October 2, 2011

Tony Two-Cent

It is such a beautiful day here today, I couldn't resist going out and digging some holes in the ground. I went back to a school that I had hunted before, but I tried a new area. I kept finding wheat cents that were fairly deep, so I hoped that if I was persistent some silver would appear. As seems to be standard for me lately, I ended up with a lone Mercury Dime. This one is a 1920-S.

I also found an old mouthpiece out of a... trombone? Baritone? Some kind of larger brass instrument anyway. I also found two nickels today which I think is a record for me. lol

I wonder if that is a bugle piece? I found one very similar to this one last year.

...With the way you have been pulling wheats lately, I'm wondering if we should change your name to Tony Wheat-Cent? lol :poke:
