Harvesting wheat... and one silver.

Well, I didn't get 41 wheat cents like Randy but I did manage to find 15 today. I hunted at three different sites and I was starting to worry that I was going to get skunked on silver. Once again, an orphan Merc saves the day. The school that has been so kind to me lately is starting to dry up. I only found 3 wheat cents there today and no silver. After about three hours I decided to hit a couple of other sites. The Merc came from a different school that I have hunted a few times in the past.

Nothing too spectacular, although I did get a 1909 wheat cent that cleaned up nicely. (But no S or VDB, unfortunately.)

Wow... I'd be happy with those keepers. :yes: Lots of nice wheat cents.
Plus, you gotta love the 'hunt saving' Merc that keeps us smiling. :happydance01:
