The late part of this summer has been crazy, with lots of changes on the horizon, so detecting has been slim, and posts of finds have been slimmer. Here are a few of the recent finds that were interesting.
Here is a 1970 Tootsie Jeepster toy car that I found (green one):

This is the body of another toy car, alongside an older toy ring. A tiny bit of red paint still remains on the gray, die cast toy car, which is a 1950 Bonneville Racer produced by Midgetoy in Rockford, Ill.

This is the bottom sides of both toy cars, showing manufacturer and assembly location:

And last but not least, my 8th silver of the year, a 1943 Mercury Head dime.

I'll be hitting the 1905 yard of a coworkers house tomorrow, so I'll be sure to report back if I unearth anything exciting. Thanks for looking!
