Today i shot over to the little park by where i grew up. About a half hour drive. They used to freeze it in the winter for iceskating. It was just across the street from the grade school i went to so i walked across it on my way home. In the spring i would walk around the edge of where the rink was and pick up coins that people lost sitting in the snowbank around the ice. I figured that people were losing coins for years that way and it was a park before i was born so there had to be silver there. Today i found out!
I came home with 98 cents. One 1940 merc, one 1951 Rosie, two wheats 45 + 52-D. And a small sterling ring with a turquoise heart w/arrow through it.
I still don't worry so much about the numbers on the screen i mostly go by sound. And this machine is AWSOME!!! It seems to find alot of nickles too! :perfect10:

Here's pics of the silver......
