Back to the productive park this morning for some hunting. Not more than 10 minutes after arriving
the drizzle started. So I searched the area beneath a couple of big old trees trying to wait out the rain.
First good signal was fairly deep due to some fill dirt leading up to the jungle gym. After digging a deep plug
the pinpointer went off dead center in the hole as I worked my way down.
Knowing the target was very close, I broke away and scooped out a handful and placed it on an empty
portion of my towel. Right away I noticed the Merc. :happydance01: Stuck my pinpointer back in the hole and
nothing sounded off so I put the pinpointer back on my belt.
After removing the dime, I was getting ready to back fill the hole when I realized I hadn't searched the rest of
the dirt pile the Merc came off of. So I scattered the dirt around little and there staring at me was
another silver... Barber! :happydance01: :happydance01:
No Indians this morning, but I did end the muddy hunt with two silvers and a very worn wheat cent.
